WAVEONE GOLD is the new generation of alternating or reciprocating files developed by Dentsply Maillefer in collaboration with four endodontic opinion leaders. WAVEONE GOLD maintains the same philosophy of simplicity as the first generation WAVEONE introduced in 2011, but with strong additional benefits that increase the confidence of dentists.

With WAVEONE GOLD, the majority (approximately 80%) of all clinical cases can be treated with a single file (the Primary file) for root canal shaping. Both the extended range (Small, Primary, Medium, Large) and the GOLD technology make it possible to treat a greater number of root canal morphologies.

Safety has also been significantly increased thanks to the GOLD technology that has enhanced resistance to cyclic or metal fatigue.
Finally, the WAVEONE GOLD design has been optimized to reduce shaping time compared to WAVEONE and other standard rotary NiTi systems.

A total solution:

WAVEONE GOLD NiTi files are part of a comprehensive root canal solution: gutta-percha points, paper points and Thermafil obturators are supplied with WAVEONE GOLD files.
For the first time, special variable tapered gutta-percha points are moulded to fit the root canal shaped with WAVEONE GOLD files.
The WAVEONE GOLD alternating or reciprocating motion is identical to that of WAVEONE, allowing us to use this new system with the same motor settings.
